Tissot began in the small Swiss town of Le Locle in 1853. The company has since expanded to selling watches in 150 countries worldwide. Tissot uses high quality materials to create watches. The watches are made in 316L steel, 18k gold and titanium with scratch proof, sapphire crystal glass. The watches are also water-resistant to at least 30 metres and up to 300 metres. Many influential historical figures have chosen to wear Tissot watches. Elvis Presley, Grace Kelly and Nelson Mandela have all worn Tissot watches.
